800 people were filmed naked in an old castle
Spencer Tunick took off another mass nudity
The infamous American photographer Spencer Tunica held his next "naked" photo session in the Belgian castle of Gaasbek. Last weekend, in the vicinity of Brussels, Tunic gathered about eight hundred men and women who are ready to undress in public.
In the Gaasbek Castle, naked volunteers depicted garden sculptures, fought on pillows, lined up in columns. The photographer called the grandiose photo shoot "Sleeping Beauty", which explained the presence of women, pillows and the image of statues. Men, apparently, played the role of knights fighting for the awakening of beauties.
The idea of photographing naked masses of people dawned on Spenskra Tunik back in the early 90s. The authorities of New York at that time were not imbued with the high intentions of the artist and he was repeatedly prosecuted for violating public morality. But already in 2005, Spencer photographed 1,700 naked people in Newcastle, England, at the invitation of the local museum and the BBC-3 TV channel.
The record number of naked models of Tunics was collected in May 2007 in Mexico City. 18 thousand people then appeared before the photographer's lens. Spencer Tunick is still full of enthusiasm today. In the fall of 2011, a new mass photo exhibition is planned on the shore of the Dead Sea.
