In which countries did retro nudism develop

Retro-nudism is an ancient phenomenon. It exists throughout the entire existence of a person to one degree or another. If we go back and read literature, or pay attention to the works of antiquity, we will also find traces of it. Moreover, even in the rituals of our Slavic ancestors, we will find features of retro nudism. Before the adoption of Christianity, it was customary for the Russians to plow a ritual furrow with a naked woman on Ivan Kupala.

Even in the times of the Ancient world, there was a cult of the naked human body. Nudity was considered natural, and was a manifestation of human perfection. During the competitions in Sparta, it was considered prestigious to participate in them in the nude. In later eras, nudism was going through difficult times.

The situation began to change only in the XIX century with the publication of the work "The Cult of Nudity" by Heinrich Pudor. This book has become a kind of theory of nudism. A little later, another German Heinrich Ingevitter publishes his work "Nudity", which surprisingly sold a very large circulation. Inspired by this, he creates the first nudist society "Tifal". The charter of Tifal was simple: a sober lifestyle, a ban on smoking, sports. Soon, the first nudist recreation center "Free Light Park" appeared in the Hamburg area.

In France, nudism was founded by the brothers Gaston and Andre Durville. They published the magazine "Live Wisely" and created a nudist resort Heliopolis in the Vilaine-sur-Seine area. In 1929, a society of gymnosophists was founded in Carambouville. And then the nudist magazine "Life"appeared.

The United States also did not stand aside, in the 30s, nudist communities began to organize their own recreation centers. In our country, since 1925, there has been a society "Down with shame". It appeared back in the days of the NEP. But it did not exist for long, nudists began to be evicted from cities.

Since the beginning of the 60 - 70s of the last century, the Adriatic has become the capital of retro nudism. In this place, nudists like to relax with their families.
