A stranger
I am standing at the window in the cold autumn, loneliness does not give me peace and my soul is so wounded and requires urgent intervention that I want to howl from such longing. I look out the window and breathe heavily, my breath has fogged up the glass and through it I see a woman standing in the yard and looking at me. I quickly run my finger over the fogged window and realize that this is not a trick of vision, she is really looking at me. Not believing my eyes, I try to wave my hand at her and tell her through the glass that I will now go outside and talk to her. Of course, she does not hear me and the fear that she will run away while I run along the entrance simply does not give rest. I'm already screaming and it scares me. Having plucked up the courage, I run out into the street and see an empty courtyard in front of me, so cold and deserted. The drizzling rain gets on my face and it makes it even worse. Loneliness is scary, very scary and cruel. But we choose it ourselves and only we decide who we should be with. But when choosing, you need to remember, do they want to be with you?
