Brac: golden Cape

The island of Brac is framed by vineyards, pine forests and olive groves, decorated with elegant cities made of local white stone. The White House in Washington was built from the same material. Good bays and bays, clean pebble beaches and a blue warm sea combined with the" branded " mild Croatian climate make the island a cult holiday destination.

The main attraction of Brac is known even by those who have not heard its name, but only saw the tourist advertising of Croatia. This is the "business card" of the whole country - the Golden Cape, a 300-meter long sea spit, meanders into the sea. Golden Cape belongs to one of the most famous resorts in Croatia - Bola. In addition to sea pleasures, Bol provides many opportunities for tennis fans (there are already more than 20 courts here), lovers of nightlife and gourmets. We understood the subtleties of the" special " local cuisine even for Croatia, but the seafood in the new restaurant among the pines was above all praise. As is the Brac rose wine.

The beach on the Golden Cape met the best expectations. Only the famous "gold" is not sand at all, but a small and rather prickly yellowish pebble. But there are no" nuggets " the size of a table in the water, and they do not interfere with swimming. The purity of the water is extraordinary! There are all conditions for divers, and especially for surfers: there is always a fresh wind blowing here. This corner was also chosen by naturists (this is how nudists are called in Croatia).
