The facility was considered inactive for a long time, until it was reconstructed in 2002. However, this is only part of a large-scale reorganization that affected the entire park complex.

In the 60s, the population of Baltimore began to move to the suburbs, which led to the decline of the central districts and the desolation of park ensembles. The local administration took unprecedented measures - it began to invite immigrants to the city and gradually canceled a number of outdated bills.
