Croatia, the favorite country of nudists

Croatia is rightfully considered the capital of nudism. The year 1930 is considered the starting point of the development of nudism in this republic. The development of nudism began after King Edward VIII, along with his beloved Wallis Simpson, swam naked in a bay called Candarola, which is located near the island of Rab. At that time, they did not think that they would start nudism in Croatia. Today, Croatia has become one of the first countries in the world where there are so many nudist beaches.

Slowly, but surely, nudism has gained popularity all over the Croatian coast. At the moment, you can find a large number of official beaches on the coast and, of course, there are a lot of unofficial places, for example, bays and beaches, where everyone can get closer to nature.

It is worth noting that in 1936 the first official nudist beach appeared on the island of Rab, but the peak of popularity fell on the 60s of the last century. In the 60s, there was an active development of nudism, there were more and more people who wanted to reconnect with nature, and get rid of far-fetched complexes, thus their desire gave an impetus to the emergence of new places of recreation for naturists. this is how Croatia acquired the status of the capital of nudism.
