Nudism in the Soviet Union
Everyone knows that there was no sex in the Soviet Union, but was there nudism? Retro nudists-fans and researchers of nudism of that time-declare that there was, and no less than in the modern world.
In the 60-80s, there were no specially designated places for nudist beaches, and those who wanted to throw everything off were located wherever they had to, even on the " River. Naturally, the law enforcement agencies were not asleep and some of the nudists spent time in police stations. The situation was more favorable in the Baltic States and the Crimea.
Despite the difficulties, nudist communities appeared in the USSR. The first of them was formed in 1977 - it was the Baltic Nudist Society of Estonia, their example was followed by Latvian nudists, and after that Leningrad nudists. The organizer of the first community, Olev Meremaa, said in a recent interview that the society still exists, however, they gather only on the beach and one of the main problems for them was a small number of women.
Nudists do not want to be like the homosexual community, so they encourage them to attend nudist meetings together with their significant other. In addition, studies show that nudist families are the strongest and are practically not subject to adultery.
