Nudism and hippies
Most often, the philosophy of nudism is associated with the hippie culture. There are reasons for this - the main freedom fighters, people who considered the women's bra an attempt by the government to infringe on a woman's rights, of course, nudism was an integral part of their lifestyle for them. Walking naked is one of the freedoms that hippies enjoyed. They called themselves children of nature, and why should the children of nature be ashamed of each other and hide under their clothes?
The heyday of the hippie movement occurred in the 1960s and 70s, they became famous because of their speeches against Puritanical morality and their desire to unite with nature through love and pacifism.
They are equal among themselves. Do you remember the saying that everyone is equal in the bath? Rich and poor, bosses and subordinates, beautiful and ugly, women and men. Exactly the same equality reigns among nudists and their" colleagues " naturists.
Now there are fewer and fewer such adherents of nudism who share the ideas of hippies. The hippies of the old wave are rapidly aging, and the new ones do not understand the full depth of their worldview.
If earlier nudists stood for world peace, against the use of nuclear weapons, now their entire philosophy is directed inward, no longer carries a global creative meaning.
