The development of nudism in the 60-70s

Nudism began to develop especially rapidly in the 60s. This is due to the fact that the generation that appeared after the end of the Second World War has grown up. The Christian morality that prevailed earlier has lost its inviolability, because life during the war was so unpredictable and it had to be enjoyed at every suitable moment. Some incentive for this was the means of contraception, invented just in the late 60s, - they allowed us to treat sex simply as a pleasure, no more. In part, this was dictated by the desire to challenge the social foundations.

Against the background of the raging sexual revolution, nudism begins to emerge as a way of self-expression, as another sign of human freedom. Nudists especially vividly felt unity with nature, which attracted an increasing number of people, because nudity was no longer taboo, which means it was easier to find like-minded people than before.

Hippies made an invaluable contribution to the development of nudism, because their main value has always been freedom. In 1967, the play "Hair" was released in New York, in which naked actors played. The movement began to popularize on a large scale, nudism becomes a culture of recreation.
