The history of the emergence of nudism

Nowadays, everyone knows that nudists are people who prefer to spend time in the nude. But from the very beginning of this trend, nudism was a kind of life philosophy, in which it was believed that the naked body makes a person closer to nature, as well as it strengthens the body and spirit.

A few centuries ago, it began the birth of nudism. In all sports competitions of Ancient Greece, athletes participated in absolute nudity. Nudity was also present in pagan rituals, for example, in Russia, naked women and girls went out to the fields in order for the harvest to be more abundant.

In the modern world, the emergence of nudism occurred in Germany at the beginning of the twentieth century, and this trend identified with the culture of the free body. People who were united by a common passion for nudity gathered in secret communities and held their parties away from prying eyes in private apartments or in suburban cities. But nudity is not the only link between activists of those times. First of all, they led healthy lifestyle, did not drink alcohol, refused to smoke and mass.

Before the totalitarian regime was established in the Union, nudism was widespread, but soon Stalin imposed a ban on public exposure.
